這個字以字根的架構來看跟concept頗有相同之處。若要依我強作解人的個性，cept是拿，主動掏出或收集一些想法，擺在一起而成構想。Prehend是捕捉，被動追著人家拋出來的概念抓住再擺在一起而得到理解。
再進一步強解，apprehend跟comprehend若同做瞭解來講，comprehend就更有全面性的瞭解捕捉了很多概念擺在一起，而apprehend則只在單一概念的捕捉。不知大家以為然否？
